Gaze Afrik was born from a deep appreciation for the significance of family, culture, and the moments that connect one generation to the next.
Over the years, I found myself increasingly drawn to weddings, not because of the spectacle, but because of what they represent. Few occasions bring together generations, traditions, histories, and relationships quite like a wedding day.
As an African photographer based in Accra, I am continually inspired by the richness of our cultures and the stories carried through family traditions. The blessing from a parent. The embrace between old friends. The quiet moments that may seem ordinary today, yet become priceless with time.
My approach combines documentary awareness with editorial artistry, allowing moments to unfold naturally while creating imagery that feels refined, intentional, and timeless.
